Summoro (a.k.a. Summer in Sapporo)

Summer is almost over. Soon the leaves will turn from bright green into vermillion red, the days will shorten, the temperature will slowly fall.

Autumn is knocking at the door.

I guess someone might be sad, but not me.
I've never been a great fan of summer myself, even though it's fair enough to admit it's one of the moments of the year where the most things happen.
And this year, I experienced the my first summer here in Sapporo (I would have loved to write Hokkaido here, but Otaru is as far as I've got, so i think it's fair enough to say just Sapporo)

Natsu Matsuri, Beer Garden, Summer Holidays from School, Rising Sun Rock.
It has been AWESOME!

Some of you might know how much I am into photography, especially into Street Photography. And Sapporo during summer is beautiful, full of life, colors and people.

But the real reason for my happiness comes from the fact that, for once, I'm in a city that will change drastically as the winter comes: and believe me, I can't stress out enough how much I'm looking forward to seeing the cityscapes, colors and also customs of this beautiful city change in front of my eyes, or even better, in front of my camera.

Snow itself will be the key to make it all happen.

We had a great summer, now it's time to have a wicked Winter too!

Hope you all enjoyed your summer vacations (for the lucky ones) or just even your summer days!

Winter, here we come!
