With Love from France
2015年 04月 14日
With a distance of over 9000 km, a time difference of 7 hours and an 18 hour-flight, France is not next door. Even though, my dad never fails to send me his love through countless parcels. Ah! Parcels from France! They would feel like the holy-graal if only they were packed with care and carefully handled from Paris to Sapporo... I’ve explained my dad at least a hundred times that a parcel that travels 9000 km for 18 hours needs to be packed with a couple of layers of bubble wrap and the content properly wedged. ‘ Properly packed and wedged’ probably means something different for French people ‘ chucked and packed’ , or is it just my dad?
Brocken snow globes, punched oil sardine tins, cracked wine bottles… it seems that French Love always start with a good cleaning!
'French love or French style’ beats me! In any case it’s always nice to get some french treats! Thanks Dad!
